Product Details

Welcoming our 2018 winning wine, the team at St Hallett, headed up by Stuart Blackwell and Toby Barlow have done a fantastic job with this shiraz. Managing to raise the bar once again, we can't praise the wine highly enough!

Our panel were simply blown away by the balance, depth and stunning vibrancy of this shiraz. Lush red fruit, spice and great texture lead to a mouth-wateringly moreish finish. Right away we knew this was a winner, an absolute standout!

The Hampel and Fromm families of growers have been in the Barossa for five generations and know how to get the most from their vineyards. St Hallett then chooses the best from each for the Lore of the Land. The team at St Hallett never fail to impress, with the wine not only taking out top spot in our Best Value Red Wine category but also cleaning up Best Overall Wine. In a fiercely competitive final tasting, this Barossa beauty stood out as our clear winner. It’s the Lore, so why fight it?

St Hallett has impressed me once again. Such a wonderful example of the great wine coming out of the Barossa. Rich, smooth and super tasty. Perfect to drink now but will only get better over the next 5 years

Simple, elegant Shiraz. Well weighted fruit with a hint of vanilla & fine spice. Drink now, you won't be disappointed.

Big, rich, punchy; what more is there to love about Barossa shiraz? This exudes character and holds a lot of the attributes that everyone loves about this variety from the region. Excellent value also.

Very versatile and complex wine. Great fruit flavours and no wonder it won the 2018 award.

I decided to give this Shiraz a try after seeing it was one of the 2018 award winners. For the price point, I felt like I was getting incredible good value and was pleasantly surprised by it's depth of flavour.

A big plum explosion hits right away with this giant Barossa wine, served perfectly with room-temperature Camembert.
