Product Details

The multi-award winning Giesen brothers Alex, Marcel and Theo's love for wine prompted them to start Giesen wines, which at the time was the world's southernmost vineyard. Chimney Creek is named after a creek that steers off the Waikakaho River in Marlborough. We think it's the best value wine they're ever made!

Chimney Creek Sauvignon Blanc has crisp, fresh aromas with a base of rich tropical fruit but dominated by fresh lime and lemongrass aromas as well as a fresh herb note. The palate shows a lovely fruit flavours reminiscent of gooseberry and citrus and this is surrounded by a juicy, pure acidity giving the wine it’s zesty exuberance with a fresh, dry finish.

This is another superb fresh sauvignon blanc from Giesen, and at a sharp price. We normally enjoy their estate sauv, but this has brighter fresh herb notes. We had this with a thai green curry for dinner it was a perfect match. Worth a try!
